Maspalomas Gay Beach Kiosk, reopening for soon
Yesterday, November 8th, the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana made public the names of the new companies that will manage the Maspalomas beach kiosks, including the gay beach kiosk no 7. It could mean that the reopening is coming soon.

All the beach kiosks in Maspalomas have been closed since March 2020, when the coronavirus crisis began, and thousands of gay men, residents, and tourists are waiting for the reopening since then. Good news! The big moment could be now, very soon!
Yesterday, November 8th, the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana (to which belong Maspalomas and Playa del Inglés) made public the names of the new companies in charge of managing the new Maspalomas beach kiosks, including the gay beach kiosk no 7.
The companies responsible for the kiosks were appointed following a very strict selection process supervised by the municipality and various levels of government. It took a long time. But now we know the names of the chosen ones. For kiosk no. 7, it is Canary Watersports 98 SL, a company based in Las Palmas and specializing in aquatic activities and water sports.
According to the legal process, the new managers now have only a few days to open the kiosk and start the business. So it could be that the kiosk will open again in a few days, and they are supposed to keep the same employees as before the closure. We will see. Users are already impatient. It remains to be seen what the prices of consumption and the products put on sale will be.
