Maspalomas Winter Pride 2022 : Official programme and events list

Welcome to the 8th edition of Winter Pride at Maspalomas, Gran Canaria from November 7 – 13, 2022. One week of amazing events : pool parties, boat excursions, parade, dance sessions and more... Enjoy the free live shows with international artists every night at the Yumbo Main Stage, the massive Pride Walk and the diverse activities.

Organisators create the framework in which Winter Pride can take place, but you are Pride ! You create the ambiance, and only you can show the world what Pride stands for. This organisation works toward a future without discrimination where all people have equal rights. They do this by producing Pride events that inspire, educate, commemorate, and celebrate our diverse community.

This year, you were all invited to send your photo to appear on the official Winter Pride poster. They received hundreds of photos, which allowed them to create several different posters with your faces that illustrate diversity. Thank you all !

Maspalomas Winter Pride Events List 2022

Monday 7th November

12:00 - 21:00: BBQ & Pool Chillout - AxelBeach

Leave your dating app at home and meet some real new friends at this official Winter Pride event. Put on your swimwear and join hundreds of new friends at the poolside. There is no better way to start your Winter Pride week than this official daytime event. Enjoy a cocktail, entertaining activities in a relaxing ambiance, and get a free barbecue with your entrance. Mixed event for everybody 18+.

20:00 - 02:00: Monday Live - Yumbo Main Stage

Winter Carnaval Night with the famous Las Palmas Drag Queens, the Agüimes Carnaval Show, live performance of the amazing Marigold Addams as Cher. The night will be finalized with a live concert by the popular band Los Salvapantallas and a DJ session from Mikael Angel. There is no better way to start your Winter Pride week. Warming up dance session begins at 20h with DJ Trojan.

Tuesday 8th November

12:00 - 19:00: Muchacha Pool Party - Ritual Hotel

Join the Muchacha Pool Party on Tuesday, November 8 ! Dance at the poolside on the tunes of DJs Monique 69 (GC), Sisi Carini (NL), and Ross Alexander (UK). You will be surrounded by sexy gogo dancers while you can enjoy the warm pool, cold cocktails, and some sunshine. Everybody is welcome.

20:00 - 02:00: Tuesday Live - Yumbo Main Stage

The Final of Pride Stars, where amazing talents will compete for the 2022 title! A very entertaining night where you are part of the jury and can vote for the contestants with the free Pride Stars voting app available for iPhone and Android.

The Scandinavian Hunks will be the very special guest artists. The very popular Scandinavian HUNKS, a dance and show group consisting of 7 sensual men, is coming for the first time ever to Gran Canaria. The Scandinavian Hunks have charmed their fans both in their home country, Finland, and internationally and have performed at large summer festivals.

Pride Stars will be followed by a dance session with DJs Ross Alexander and PK80 and the team of High Heels Performance! Warming up dance session from 20h with DJ Trojan.

Wednesday 9th November

12:00 - 19:00: Wet & White - Amadores Beach Club

This is what you came for to Winter Pride : The legendary Wet & White at the idyllic Amadores Beach Club. Amazing location next to the beach and ocean with huge pool, jacuzzi, sunbeds, VIP Cabins, restaurant, and the chill, funky, and soul sounds brought to you by PK80, Sharon O'Love, Micky Friedmann, and the team of High Heels Performance. All tickets include free return bus included from the Yumbo between 11.45 – 14.00. Return busses as from 18.00. Mixed event for everybody 18+.

20:00 - 02:00: Wednesday Live, la Voix in Concert - Yumbo Main Stage

La Voix is one of the most popular performers in history of Winter Pride since 2014. Therefore this year La Voix will own the stage for one single and exclusive night. Winter Pride presents La Voix & Friends in Concert. La Voix has brought with her the Amy Winehouse Tribute and, from Paris, Leona Winter. Come early as the Yumbo Main Stage area will be packed till the very last minute with DJs Diva Mayday and Sharon O´Love spinning the wheels at the DJ table. Warming up dance session from 20h with DJ Trojan.

Thursday 10th November

16:00 - 20:00: Queen Tribute Live Concert - Yumbo Main Stage

After enjoying the sun at the beach or pool, come to the Yumbo Main Stage and enjoy one of Europe's best Queen Tribute Bands, live in concert. Brought to you by the Duke´s Band. While dancing on Queen's greatest hits, visit one of the quality tapas stands where you can choose from a wide range of fresh-made food. The Queen Tribute Live Concert will start at 16:30 and will be introduced before with a warmup session as from 16:00 by DJ Trojan. After the 1.5-hour concert, the live show will continue with a special live band.

20:00 - 03:00: Thursday Live - Yumbo Main Stage

It´s Thursday Night at the Yumbo Main Stage area, where you can start the night at 20h with a warm-up dance session from DJ Trojan. With headliner N-Trance, known for their European hit songs “Set You Free” and “Stayin’ Alive”. The 10-headed Rainbow Gospel Choir will swing on the main as you have seen them doing the past few Winter Prides, they are just great. Canarian Dácil Suarez, Dutch Nurlaila musical star from the Tina Turner musical. DJs PK80, and Sharon O´Love, will present the DJ session at the main stage dancefloor. Warming up dance session from 20h with DJ Trojan.

Friday 11th November

11:00 - 15:00: German Carnival, Maspalomas Gay Beach (Kiosk nº 7)

The traditional and big party at the Gay Beach in Maspalomas, it's just tradition in Gran Canaria... And that for many, many years, long before the Winter Pride was founded. Every year on November 11 at 11:11 a.m., German Carnival strongholds such as Cologne start the new carnival season, and this tradition is now also celebrated on Gran Canaria. No program, no official event of Winter Pride, but every year again a great day more than crowded on the beach around the kiosk No. 7 in Maspalomas (Gay Beach). Come in a disguise, or in a bathing suit, or without anything at all and have fun.

15:00 - 18:00: Pride Walk, Avenida de Tirajana

This is Winter Pride ! Show who you are ! Show what you stand for ! Show the world that we are ! More than 20.000 people will walk with pride. Bring your text sign and make your statement. Bring your country's flag, let´s dance, sing and shout out loud... This is who we are, we are proud ! To walk is free of course. Dress code: Rainbow, of course !

18:00 - 03:00: Pride Walk Dance Session + Friday Live - Yumbo Main Stage

Walk with Pride, dance with Pride... After the Pride Walk the manifestation will end at the Yumbo Square, where DJs Diva Mayday and DJ Trojan and the High Heel Performance gogo's will await you.

The Friday Night Live Show will start immediately after the Pride Walk Dance Session. With headliner Haddaway from the global hit “What is Love”. Sharon Doorson was one of the biggest surprises during Winter Pride 2021 (with Covid restrictions) and therefore she deserves to return at Winter Pride 2022 with a full Yumbo square. Her performance will blow you away ! Pride Stars and World Champion Karaoke, Jenny Ball from the UK, will perform for you with her power voice. From Italy, Gio Box will own the stage the way she always does, with a spectacular performance.

Saturday 12th November

12:30 - 20:00: Loveland - Oasis (road to Sioux City)

The main daytime event of Winter Pride 2022 ! At a brand new location, Oasis, an open-air venue surrounded by beautiful nature where thousands of visitors can enjoy the enormous dancefloor. The free shuttle bus will bring you from the Yumbo within 10 minutes to Loveland. With live performances of Nalaya Brown, one of the world's best vocal house singers and known as The Voice of Ibiza. DJ and producer Nacho Chapado travels around the world and is one of the most known DJs within the gay community. DJ Andrei Stan is a well known DJ within our community and played this year already at La Demence, Tomorrowland, and Circuit Festival. High Heels Performance will give Loveland the magic touch with their amazing and sexy gogo's and drag queens.

20:00 - 03:00: Saturday Live - Yumbo Main Stage

With 6.5 million monthly listeners on Spotify, 1 billion views on YouTube, 1.8 million Facebook followers, Cascada is one of the most popular dance music artists ever with the biggest hist from the 90s with “Everytime we Touch” and “Evacuate the Dancefloor”. She won many awards and we are proud to welcome Cascada and her dancers for the first time ever at Winter Pride on the Yumbo Main Stage.

With Hed Kandi star and Progay family member Soraya Vivian. She has been performing at Winter Pride since 2015 and will also be your host during various live shows. Her stage presence, energy and vocal performance is just incomparable. More artists to be announced. Warming up dance session from 19h with DJ Trojan.

Sunday 13th November

12:00 - 19:00: Tea Dance - Seven Hotel

Pool Party back by demand and this year the closing pool party with DJs Sharon O´Love, PK80 and Mikael Angel. Enjoy T-Dance inside or outside the refreshing pool, the sun, summer tunes and the sexy gogo´s from High Heel Performance! Mixed event for everybody 18+.

13:00 - 19:30: XXX Boat trip - Puerto Rico Base

The only "Men's Only" event during Winter Pride. Join the XXX Boat Trip with live DJs, Private area, Dance deck, Cruising deck, Free bar (cocktail, beer, soft drinks, water), food and return transport. Meeting point at 13:00h at Bunker, the bus will leave at 13:30 sharp. You will be back in the Yumbo by 20:30.

20:00 - 03:00: Sunday Live - Yumbo Main Stage

With the great voices and show of the performers Rachel McFarlane, Jill Helena, and Celia Jimenez. DJs Diva Mayday and Ross Alexander will close Winter Pride 2022 with a spectacular set. Warming up dance session from 19h with DJ Trojan.
