El Mocan
El Mocan by Relax is a new gourmet steakhouse and BBQ concept in Maspalomas offering exclusive cuisine grilled over open-air coals.
The restaurant is designed as a relaxed-style tavern, with an open-plan area where you can watch the dishes being prepared in the kitchen.
The menu offers a variety of pork, chicken, and beef dishes such as ribs, hamburgers, steak, and chateaubriand, all accompanied by traditional Canarian beer.

The new Hummel Hummel is the oldest (but renoveted) gay men's bar at the Yumbo Center, with great ambiance, open-air terrace, low prices and nice music.

Café Wien is the mot famous and popular terrace for gay men in Playa del Inglés. They are specialising in coffee and pastries, all the cakes and tarts are made in their own bakery following traditional German recipes. You can also enjoy an Ice Cream Cup or an excellent full Breakfast / Brunch in the morning up to 12h.
Café Wien is a real institution for gay men who stop by every day after the beach to enjoy a coffee and cake. Rush hour is from 16h to 18h ; in high season, it is so crowded that it can be difficult to find a table and a seat available. Come early !
Located on the top floor of Cita Shopping Center (2nd floor) and offering a nice inside room as well as a sunny terrace with a cosy and a friendly atmosphere, just next to the Code Store fashion shop.

“En el Nombre del Jamón” (In the Name of the Ham) is a bistro-boutique principally dedicated to the Spanish ham but not only. It’s also a wine-tasting shop and a gourmet grocery, the first of its kind to open in the Yumbo Centre.
You will find there a selection of local products and Spanish specialties including beers, liquor, canned fish, Iberian sausages, cheeses, and jams. You can eat on site, and enjoy tapas or sandwiches in a nicely decorated room, or purchase items to take away. In any case, this is your perfect place to buy the best souvenir to bring back from Gran Canaria.
